As you may recall, several months ago my husband J.C. spoke with you regarding service for my Mom. We were very upset that the VA had notified you and us that they were denying my Mom survivor benefits. We needed assistance quickly and more importantly accurately. You gave us your word that your organization would do whatever necessary to rectify the situation and obtain the financial assistance we needed for my Mom’s care through the Veterans Association and medicaid Diversion ( Home Health Care).
This letter is to personally thank you for making good on your promise. You directed Marta Strong, your benefits Manager to handle our case and we can not say enough wonderful things about her. She has truly gone above and beyond to get these badly needed funds so that we could get the care we needed for my Mom. Marta enlisted the assistance of Patrick E. Murphy, Member of Congress and the Veterans Administration finally re-investigated my Mom’s case and she has been receiving benefits since August 2014. You have no idea how relieved we are and how much we appreciate ALL the things that Marta did to make this come about. Marta also followed up to make sure that my Mom would receive the retroactive money due her all the way back to when my Dad passed. When I had to meet with the Fiduciary Agent from the VA, Marta gave me her personal number to call if any questions, even though she was at a breakfast for herdaughter. Fortunately, I didn’t have to bother her. Again, this demonstrates Marta’s commitment and a wonderful job.
Marta also did a fantastic job getting us the medicaid Diversion allocation. I am so happy and relieved that as of September 1, 2014 my Mom is receiving this assistance. On October 1, 2014 we were able to place muy Mom in a beautiful Assited Living Facility. This would not have been possible without all of Marta’s hard work to obtain the funds we needed from Diversion and the VA
So again, thank you for keeping your word and for hiring and employing wonderful people like marta in your organization. She is an asset to your company.
We were referred to Sonja by a senior care strategist in Massachusetts. We were in the process of moving our mother to Florida and needed help relocating her as well as continuing care for her. Sonja was able to first gain my mother’s trust and then was able to locate the appropriate doctors for her and to find daily help for her. She worked diligently with my mother to find her new housing and to arrange for the physical move of her property to Florida. Sonja has continued to help find the every day things that make life more enjoyable…a manicurist…a trip to church…rides to the doctor… I can strongly recommend V.I.P. Care Management. They are always available to talk, they have resources for everything I have asked for and they have been consistently patient with my mother (and me) when my patience has waned. Sonja not only listens, but provides creative solutions and then initiates action.
We consider ourselves fortunate that our parents are being cared for by V.I.P. Care Management for the past 5 years in Florida. The Kobrins and staff have managed all the business, medical referrals, and personal affairs of our parents. The Kobrins have done this in a caring, professional, and thorough manner. They are an integral part of our life and family. There is one main concern in the mind and heart of the Kobrins and staff, and that is the comfort and well-being of their clients. We recommend David and Sonja Kobrin highly as guardians and also, wish them continued health and success in their never-ending efforts.
It was a real pleasure meeting with you the other day along with my Uncle Rudy. Quite frankly, I was at a loss on how to handle his situation and was not sure just what type of facility he needed. After meeting with you as well as Sonja, I felt very knowledgeable as to his exact needs and followed your leads as to a facility which would best suite those needs…I want to thank you and Sonja so very much for making this transition for Ruby as well as for myself so easy and wonderful.
On behalf of my brother, my sister, and I, I want to thank you for the expert assistance you provided us in dealing with my father’s complicated situation in Florida. It is difficult to be involved properly in the care of an elder from a distance, but your knowledge and your insights made doing so much easier than it would otherwise have been. Your support as we sorted through the available options kept us on track while my father was in Florida and helped us get to what has so far been a successful placement in the Boston area where my brother and I live.
I had heard so many wonderful things about your company, and it was nice to find out first hand that they were all true. There is no adequate way for me to say thank you for all your help and assistance you and your team have given me over the past year. Your masterful orchestration and management of an incredibly complex situation first regarding my wife and now my sister was and is outstanding.
I want to take this time to express my sincere thanks for a job well done to you and your staff. I always found everyone in your office upbeat and professional in the many conversations we had over the past few months. Your entire staff has helped me find solutions and never felt I had to contend with problems.
I want to express my heart-felt gratitude for the care and support you have provided to my mother-in-law, Martha, over these last three years and which you continue to provide under the most complicated and difficult circumstances. With all the issues surrounding her health, home care, and financial affairs, and then with my wife’s passing, I can only say that your experience, intelligence, understanding, and sensitivity have provided me with enormous level of security in knowing how well Martha is cared for.
